Positive the handy pack size and low weight is at a quality that I would not necessarily expect at the price. With a little research on Amazon UK to get away even a little cheaper.
For safe standing, there is only the rubber feet, spikes, there is not in the price range. The center column is reversible.
The perceived quality is absolutely fine. I use the Hama with a slight EVIL camera it telephoto zoom (Mirrorless) and it is steady at about 800gr weight without extreme situations have now tested (wind, slope, etc) so far.
The one negative is me doing a few things:
- The legs are folded out angling easy and not drive yourself out. This is especially for ground-level work something hindrance, because although you can turn around the central rod, but then feel disappointed for aligning. The Cullmann Nanomax 200T (which is similar to the rest of the specifications almost similar, if not to say very) has at least two grid settings, making it more versatile here.
- The ball head is ... BASIC, it works, but sometimes you have to come to terms. A dragonfly for alignment does not exist. One should therefore look if you get a hot shoe cover with water balance as an accessory. For compact camera's hotshoe without this alternative does not go however.
- To set (and by me not for real held) load capacity: With a heavy DSLR and a telephoto ... this is not at all. More than 1kg should not draufpacken on the small Hama you.
- Whether to keep the clamps and screws really in the long run only to have to put out. With the DSLR on the ball head, the fixing screw made no really happy impression.
As a "one true end Tripod" is the Hama certainly not recommended and not to use, in the long term, with growing demands also certainly not. To the beginning of a try to lose a tripod to work and little money, it is well suited. Therefore, purely for the way I would be able to give four stars.
