And the second cable that plugs into a USB port and is used to power the system. This second cable is afraid to near 20 centimeters longer than the video cable and therefore be more than enough to keep any configuration.
It is repeatedly said that the signal delivered to the two screens is exactly the same, indeed, but after all this is exactly what we expect from this device.
So simple, perfectly effective, and quite cheap and not bulky, that ask for? !! So perfect.
