This big ledger & (! 28 cm X 22 cm 320 pages) is a truly remarkable panorama of all existing Dys disorders: D
More importantly, it is an extremely dense book with a LOT of information, explanations, information on all learning disability that can afflict some children as some adults :)
It is divided into 12 main chapters plus an epilogue:

VI - Associations & comorbid disorders "Dys": some introductory considerations
VII - Dyslexia: a model for understanding the brain basis of learning disabilities
VIII - Neurology mathematical abilities, brain basis of dyscalculia
IX - Acquisition of motor coordination & his troubles: the awkwardness of gesture to dyspraxias development

Personally, 12th party, ASD especially interested me of course! And the passage from page 274 of the RMET (for Reading the Mind in the Eyes) in particular really made me smile.
This is so true in my case! It was, as I said it on my blog 2nd (dedicated to Asperger syndrome) a real test for me that this test "looks / phrases" :))
I think this is a book that can only fascinate people wanting to dig issues related to the learning process. For it is a terribly stimulating book that provides key but brings to question their own path, that of his (her) child (ren)!
Loaded with illustrations, screenshots brain imaging, tables, curves, this book is both extremely precise in his explanations and perfectly accessible.
We do not drown in a speech that could fall into a form of technical & austerity! On the contrary, the educational will of the author is evident & very efficient.
Reading is easy while staying in a sharp & detailed presentation of the subject. The explanations are clear, well-written: a real treat for me !!! :))
Finally, a book absolutely essential to me for anyone passionate about brain function, or questioning how the human being can learn, with more or less ease.
