I have a Samsung LE32B650 with a CI slot and am a regular customer Unitymedia cable.
With my D-Box I had always small dropouts and artifacts on digital channels, which I attributed to the signal strength of my cable connection.

By Alphacrypt module I have now, amazingly, an absolutely perfect image without any dropouts.
The encrypted programs (Unitymedia, Sky Bundesliga) be properly decoded and played back.
