Our old cover for the microwave was broken, was made of hard plastic. The food was always uneven hot and cold. A total disaster. Now we have bought this cover made of soft plastic, and lo and behold we could hardly believe it. Whether soup, meat, pasta everything is evenly and pleasantly warm as it should be. That part is absolutely top and dishwasher safe. We really like can be a little more amazed. So buy and marvel cover.
