Very balanced and perfect musicality, very pure (2 tweeters are wonderful), low depth bluffing for as small enclosure, especially attractive aesthetic Cherry finish. So good a pair of wall serves as home theater front speakers, and they are doing more than well in this role. JBL did a great job for its ES Series, which is for me the best value for their products. Buy closed eyes (and ears open!).
