One wrote the early 80s when the US was hit by a horde of teenagers, mostly so looked like the nice guys from next door, but with their bands created one of the wildest music that has ever brought forth the Rock'n'Roll: US Hardcore Punk. There were a lot of bands with its own unique style, a couple of them were a legend. JFA is one of them. They were the poster child of what you called "Skate Punk" designated. Their sound was in the surf music of the 60s roots (so there are a few surf instrumentals as cover versions), but which has been sent by the neutron accelerator.
