Stylistically, it is somewhat reminiscent of "Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Grafitti" for NES / Famicom, his character a parody of the Splatterhouse games. One could go, a "tribute" to call the present work almost ready.
From the gameplay ago there's nothing surprising to announce. As in almost every other of its kind you walk from the left to the right night (or sometimes from right to left) and beat everything one stands in the way. In addition to fist and foot carries our little hero nor a practical chain saw with him and did leave opponents sometimes one or two pennies, which can be exchanged at the end of each level to powerups and new skills.
Previously, it is still to defeat the final boss of each, but this is not an all too difficult task, once you get recognized his attack pattern.
Overall, "Splatter Action / Splatter Master" a really fine little game, but unfortunately this is ailing in his very short playing time and a lack of 2-player mode. So the whole game with a little skill can be clearly finish in under an hour, but what is a little pity then.
Until the hour rum, but it really can entertain!
A note yet to offer here PAL version: As with other games, which were originally part of the "SIMPLE2000" series (a number of budget titles of smaller software companies to pocket money price of 2000Yen - hence the name) in Japan the light of ( saw video game) world, all speech was also here removed, probably because they wanted to spend any extra money on expensive sound recordings. So there in the scenes is where actually spoken, plain silence (although the respective figure moved his mouth - for example, the final boss in the second level). This may not be all too tragic, but a bit of a shame.
