The latter was always a bit awkward for me because before running once the cable had to be laid. So I pondered for some time, zuzulegen a wireless headset, but the sound sound much better than a lot of cheap models, and should provide a comfortable fit. So I tested recently been the Bluetooth stereo headset TT-BH03 TaoTronics of which already I liked very much and can be expanded almost infinitely in the application possibilities in conjunction with the stereo transmitter TT-BA01 from the same manufacturer.
With the TT-BH05 Gosport Mini is now also a smaller model that is well suited for the warm summer months while jogging or during daily use in public transport. Not that I think the poor TT-BH03, but in summer it gets a bit hot under the ear pads and a smaller headset would be ideal. Unfortunately, my experience with small Bluetooth stereo headphones are not particularly good and move to the 1-star category. Therefore, I had no great expectations for the sound quality.

Workmanship and design:
========================
The headset consists of 2 square in-ear components with matching plugs. In addition, another 2 pairs plug are at different sizes. Between plugs and earphones there is a kind of rubber that are somewhat reminiscent of Mr. Spock's pointed ears from Star Trek. This will probably make for a better fit in the ear, but can be removed at optical concerns.
The small buttons for controlling possess a good pressure point and the Micro-USB charging socket makes a stable impression.
The two earpieces are connected to a 50 cm long ribbon cable. In between is the small control unit with the battery. Due to its small size it acts while wearing not very noticeable.
Comfort:
==========
Especially while jogging the day comfort of headphones plays a huge role. He has to sit tight, but not too tight to avoid printing problems. I am also wearing glasses, which does not make the wearing headphones. Here the big brother TT-BH03 already made a good impression. The small model of comfort, especially for eyeglass wearers, even a bit has gotten better. I run about 3 times a week at least one hour, while the headphones were hardly noticeable.
The insertion into the outer ear is done in seconds and the headphones sit after almost bomb-proof, provided it has been found the right plug size. Even at high speeds nothing wobbles.
The TT-BH05 can also prima bear lying in contrast to the TT-BH03, since no disturbing neckband is available.
Operation:
========
For coupling pressing the multifunction button in the middle of the right earpiece for more than 7 seconds until the red and blue LED flash alternately and switches on a Bluetooth smartphone or tablet. For me, the password entry was not necessary.
Left and right of the multi-function switch the loudspeakers, QUIET-, Skip Forward and Skip are arranged Backward buttons. These can be erstasten quickly with a little practice in running and react reliably with a good tactile feedback. A short press will jump to the previous or next song, Keeping the keys pressed, increases or decreases the volume.
Sound and voice quality:
===================
Again, this headset makes no weaknesses. Of course it does not sound like a 200-EUR headphones, but can compete significantly with my inexpensive, wired headsets and the big brother TT-BH03. The sound spectrum is very balanced in my view. The bass is surprisingly strong, but not so dominant, as with many other headphones. In the medium and high frequency range, there is nothing to complain about. Overall, I feel the sound when listening to music very balanced and pleasant. It is important that you use the correct plug, there's barely noticeable at too loose seat of Bass.
The ambient noise attenuation is hereby very high that you can not necessarily will notice when a cyclist drives up from behind ring. Then you should make while running and not select the volume too high.
The voice quality I have tested both in individual discussions, as well as in some conference calls with several participants. The agreement was acceptable and no worse than with special voice headsets in the same price category. Should there be a problem, it often helps to increase the microphone volume on the phone or the handset.
The synchronicity of image and sound, I feel very good. The lip movements with movies on tablet or smartphone to adjust sound. Only for musicians headphones are only conditionally usable. When connecting with the TaoTronics Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter on my digital piano, came about as the TT-BH03 significant delays with which a play was impossible. When connecting the transmitter to my AV receiver, however, the TV sound was fine, since these extremely small delay does not really stand in the millisecond range. This is not due to the product, but is a "feature" of the Bluetooth technology, because it is indeed intended only for voice transmission to Head Seats and not to replace a conventional wireless headphones.
Compatibility:
==========
This point is more important. Therefore, I once listed, so I have the headphones been coupled:
- Samsung Galaxy S3 / S4
- Amazon Fire TV (with additional Bluetooth app)
- Sony Xperia Tablet S
- Nokia Lumia 630
- Siemens Gigaset S810
- TaoTronics Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter (AV receiver, MP3 player, etc.)
Battery life:
=========
The charging time corresponds with about 1 hour of the manufacturer's specification. So far I managed already the promised maximum 6 hours on a single charge at medium volume, the run time is dependent on many factors such as the quality of the Bluetooth connection and proximity to the device, the volume, etc.
Conclusion:
====
After several unsuccessful attempts with other in-ear Bluetooth headphones, I was the TaoTronics Gosport Mini very enthusiastic. The sound is comparable to that of larger models, but is due to design not quite at a Shell headphone zoom.
Optimal and recommended the use of the additional transmitter, as you can so connect the headphones to all non-Bluetooth enabled devices such as a stereo or MP3 player.
