Small, cheap but a "real" smartphone!

This cute little smartphone was the replacement for my previous iPhone 3GS for me. With this choice I am also very satisfied!
The Galaxy Pocket is basically everything a "full-blown" Galaxy also can. Internet, photos, videos, mobile apps ... It's just - and this factor should not be underestimated - much smaller. The Galaxy Pocket is barely larger than my palm. The screen has only roughly the format of a debit card. In order for the mobile small and light and no piece is bulky. But that also means that it's much less fun for surfing the Internet, as if you have a larger screen in front of him. On a small screen is just right on it less, everything seems smaller. Even the keyboard is correspondingly nothing for Grobmotoriker (but fortunately you can the phone for writing so turn to the side, then it's no longer a problem). The screen resolution is (for my taste) enough, but not as high resolution as with a large Galaxy.

So if you wonder whether you should buy this phone, you have to first ask what you want to use it for, so what is expected of him. I give the Pocket 5 stars because it's just right for my needs: I was looking for the cheapest possible phone with which I want to write mainly calls and messages (SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype ...). Every now and then I also can sometimes nachgucken something on the Internet. If even one or two simple game works (à la Angry Birds), which is good. All this can fulfill the Galaxy Pocket easily. To detail to surf the Internet, read eBooks or watch videos, I use my laptop. Who wants to do that, however, on his smartphone, should seek a bigger prefer. Several hours a day staring at this small screen, can not be accepted.

What particularly distinguishes this phone, is the price. I can / want to buy not a big Galaxy. This I ordered for less than 50 euros on Amazon Warehouse Deals (so it was used, what one observes not him). And to get for just under 50 euros a almost new "real" smartphone is great. Since I do not want to complain about a few pixels too.

Other information: The camera is quite decent, but not at the level of a digicam. Android works great without any restrictions, virtually all apps run on the device. There is a slot for a memory card, you should buy it. It worked without any problems, connect the device to the PC over gravel and photos and music up and push down. The battery lasts a long time apparently pronounced for smartphone ratios. During a telephone conversation, the sound is good, the unit is also loud enough to still make in the handbag noticeable when you are called. The sound quality of the speaker is (for mobile ratios) also good.

Conclusion: just buy it if you want to use it as a communication tool rather than as a toy!
