- In his introduction (pp. 7- 28), the author explains why high cholesterol is dangerous on the cardiovascular and how a power adaptation is necessary.
These pages are very important because they allow us to understand the benefit of lifestyle changes .... which facilitates the adoption of good eating habits.
Overall, I enjoyed the quality of argument, accessibility and conciseness.
- Then come the 120 anti-cholesterol recipes.
The list is quite varied and there are soups and appetizers (hot and cold), as well as to fish dishes, meats and poultry.
Note that these recipes are pretty economical, cover a wide range of ingredients, and are fully compatible with a kitchen "daily" (common ingredients, rather short preparation time).
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality "taste" recipes, that perform marriages quite impressive flavors such as fennel and Parmesan.
When one proposes a power adaptation, the hardest part is to convince the person in the long run.
In my opinion, this book has many arguments to convince the will and ... especially the taste buds.
A book that I recommend very strongly so.
