The Corsair USB Mini had from all the other "small" convinced me the most, because it a very robust construction and is waterproof, has a relatively large memory and allow the contacts to push. What I, however, missing, is a status LED which indicates to me the operation. The only drawback is the not-too-fast data transfer rates, which makes operation with Damn Small Linux a bit slower compared to andernen sticks. But Eigent for everyday use at work and in their studies, the Corsair Mini very good. Movies stutter not, Word files can be very fast move and PortableApps also works very fast. I have to stick already recommended to fellow students on and would continue to do with a clear conscience.
* EDIT *
After more than a year it has happened. The Einschiebemechanik is after, after I accidentally drove over to the office chair, the stick was broken and no longer be used properly. At least I could still save the data, so the loss was not too large. A look at the RMA page from Corsair, however, brought a smile back to my face. The USB flash drive has a 30 year warranty. So although I have again to pay about three euros for shipping to the Netherlands, but I have but without hesitation get an entirely new Stick!
