I carry it with the supplied kit either around the neck (paracord and stopper), the belt (belt clip) under just in your pocket.
It also fits into a super EDC Kit.
The contained (2 split) Firesteel I have not yet used. I use the Izula directly with my mixed metal rod. In addition I have ground off the protective layer from the back of the blade and filed a small notch. The whole then again made of corrosion-resistant with Schnellbrünierung. And it works great.
The 1095 carbon steel from Izula II is not rust resistant, which means you should the knife after use (especially outdoor when it was wet) maintain with oil. However, the protective layer already protected while the majority of the blade, one only has to "look" at the cutting edge. I use to Ballistol.
The blade is very stable, regrind cutting properties and easily. ESEE a lifetime warranty on the blade, I think that I'll never have to avail. The small Izula is really worth the money and you can rely on in any situation.
With my rather small fingers the handle length from Izula II is ideal for me.
Strong buy recommendation!
