JBL On Tour
Hama AS 63 (the way I see the same design as Hama Sonic Mobil 400 Alu)
HMDX Jam
Digitus DA-10287
Connection:
JBL: No Bluetooth, and quite a lot of cable / terminal combinations solve Unfortunately the infamous humming from, particularly in network operation. If this occurs, you have to experiment with other cables. 3 *
Hama: No Bluetooth, wired connection but without any problems. 4 *
HMDX Jam: Bluetooth connection with iPhone work right away and remains stable. 5 *
Digitus: I can not get to establish a Bluetooth connection to the iPhone. 1 *. Works via cable.
Style:
Of course, is a matter of taste. See many things in real better than in the photo, the part of Hama not - quite the contrary. 2 *. The other 4-5 *
Sound - the most important thing:
JBL On Tour - nice and differentiated sound. Spherical highs, solid lows, individual instruments well out audibly; even at higher volumes. 5 *
Hama - in the same league as the JBL, but to a lower place in the table. Sounds good, but a little "hollow"; clearly distinguishable from JBL in the blind test. 4 *
HMDX Jam - amazingly loud, but unfortunately too bassy. When I put the iPhone Equalizer on "Acoustic", he sounds really good. Too bad he is not tuned innately so. At higher volumes, the sound can also by again. 3-4 *
Digitus: As I said, only cable connection possible. Sound certainly not better than the HMDX so for me out of the race. 3 *
Other:
JBL: mains operation is possible, but unfortunately, unfortunately, the batteries can not be recharged in the instrument. This means that you "on tour" must carry around a separate charger.
HMDX Jam: In fact, the control blinks unnecessary light, which as it were unsuitable for the bedroom makes him or you always have to switch on and off him. Again pity. Moreover cinch and USB charging cable is very short, finally is no Schukoadapter at.
Digitus: Has a built-in microphone, so you can use it to make phone calls / hands free. Have not tested because of the Bluetooth problem this feature.
Conclusion: The perfect device does not exist. Therefore I forgive 2 to 5 star after overall:
1st place: JBL On Tour - 5 *
2nd place: HMDX Jam - 4 *
3rd place: Hama AS 63-3 *
4th Place: Digitus DA-10287-2 *
Who wants Bluetooth, should pick up the HMDX Jam. Otherwise superior JBL On Tour from sound forth, whatever the size and the lack of charging function outweighs me. In Hama bothers me especially the design. The Digitus failed due to the Bluetooth problem in the test; the sound has not even motivated me more intensively deal with it.
ADDENDUM: With a Bluetooth connection with my iPhone 4S all set few minutes for a few moments of the sound. Is it also another way and what could be the problem?
