The picture quality itself is perfectly for me. Known to have a 2000Euro in Samsung 55 "which is only marginally better MMN in normal TV and Blurays.
There is a drawback, but what stands out sooner or later: The burn.
To me it is really only noticed after a month. If one looks, for example, a football match and then makes you can still see where the Toranzeige stand 90 minutes.
In bright white image parts need only a few minutes so that it resonates with black image. I have not selected a starting point and short what a setting menu, and close it again, I have a pretty good outline of the window on the screen.
Why is it still gives 4 stars? In normal operation, so while watching but it does not stand out. One has never been a completely black image, and feature films, etc. the effect does not occur either. There one has simply no bangs white boxes that have been open two minutes, followed by a raven black image.
Of course it is nonetheless a drawback, but it falls just only if one respects it and even then only if you have chosen to give input and one as has been said has a completely black screen.
But since in the price range no comparable product of the competition out there (either only HD-ready, no triple tuner, not 3D and / or no 50 inches), which is absolutely justified (and is, to a certain degree of plasma technology owed).
Another small drawback is the connection to the Blu-ray player. I specially bought a model of LG (which also this per se of the offered price performance was very interesting already) and still needs to use the extra Blurayplayer remote, that I know for example. Samsung differently. No big drama, but you could certainly do better with little effort.
Otherwise: The TV emits after a certain time an ordinary heat, and is probably not "the" energy saver, but is partly also here simply. at the plasma technology and disturbs me honestly also very limited.
The TV's sound is absolutely fine. Sufficient for everyday use without any doubt. Who then of course the evening would like to see a feature film with home cinema experience, must naturally fire up its external investment, but this is invariably at every TV so no matter what price range. (The above example was Samsung. As well / poorly.)
The 3D I honestly (embarrassingly) never used, what it is plain that it actually was not a reason to buy for me. Just as written above, has the competition itself with only 2D not the amount of (U600, Triple Tuner, Full HD, 50 inch, SmartHub and so); a year ago!
Conclusion: When it comes to price-performance, LG is simply one of the best brands. When it comes to high-end and you are willing to pay more, other manufacturers are probably advisable.
Am completely satisfied. 5 stars there with me personally but only if the product really surprised me more than positive. For this it would have been necessary less the occasional small blemishes. Nevertheless, there are -sei it television or smartphone, not the perfect product.
Therefore: Very strong buy recommendation!
