Best of all in this context (and thus defying the trend towards ever larger displays) is and remains without envy the iPhone 4, 4s respectively with 'only' 3.8-inch screen size.
Apart from the unsurpassed quality (on the Apple OS is debatable) and the world's apparently been popular designs of all smartphones, the iPhone was seen from the handiness forth for me the only conceivable alternative to my LG.
But also seen by the handiness and the beautiful, flawless optics ago. On the pure operating system reduced, would and I'm going to buy an iPhone because of the many, for me unacceptable restrictions on personal freedom I never be able to wrestle.
Should Apple (white man's?) Offer sometime both systems (Android and iOS) in a freely selectable device, then that would be for me and many millions of absolute dream.
But I live here and now and that I have now with the LG Optimus Black found my personal dream mobile phone, is a fact.
That said, however, was not from the beginning, so I give just honestly and candidly to:
At first (as was still under Froyoo) had me some small mistakes before enormously annoyed; so did the phone 'though rarely' hang times (Of course this happens in situations where no man really needs). Only the fact that I had (Read how here and there desöfteren of Android users of all possible manufacturers or heard) Never remove the battery pack and use it to start a re-boot, this circumstance made me not really the killer criterion.
Battery performance also not particularly liked me at first; by refined, partly laboriously herausgegoogelte tricks and accordingly capable Blogs I succeeded, however, quite quickly, to increase the battery life considerably. Optimal she still was not characterized, but when I Latest Phones like the iPhone4s or the Nokia Lumia 800 look at me now in terms of battery endurance, I can still be really happy in retrospect.
Another small minus were occasional slight stuttering in executing apps (especially if they had just started fresh).
That my LG-Phone ultimately really became my personal dream Phone, is unique and alone the update to Android 2.3.4 aka Gingerbread (nearly 14 days ago installed) owe.
No more stuttering, not a single hanger since 'the whole perfomance is clearly stronger and more stable than before with Froyo (Android 2.2).
The speed while surfing or simply just when opening applications is simply hammer moderate. Those who have not tested it myself, will not believe that this phone works with only one processor core. So make surfing and gaming fun.
The battery performance has noticeably improved again. Two days under normal use are no longer a problem. Turn it all the energy-guzzlers off, or I'll have you not even start in the background (goes over apps like Dr. Battery Saver, System Panel and Android Assistant) does my LG with normal use over previously ridiculous little power. Today for example, I took the phone 15 hours and 32 minutes for getting up in front of the loader, conducted several telephone conversations, two mile long SMS sent surfed via WhatsApp and wireless exactly 50 minutes of 'my gauge Battery widget displays still respectable 83 % residual power to.
Again very clear, because you could not believe it: After 15 and a half hours of normal, not excessive use, I had so far a consumption of 17%. When I reflect on it and investing, for example for hours and look at videos in addition times on the phone briefly, then the battery indicator goes sometimes even after only 7-8 hours in the red zone (20% in my gauged Battery Widget).
I find that now exceptionally well, but perform it in the first place and back on the apparently highly successful optimization of Phones by Gingerbread. Anders is not for me to explain.
Would I lose this phone or one would steal it to me, I would buy myself again immediately and without hesitation.
Finally, I can in good conscience give nothing but a strong buy recommendation!
