These boards are really good. Hard, scratch-resistant, easy. But they smell funny. Granted, these are the first Frühstücksbrettchen in my life that I bought. Before that I had inherited from my mother that. This smelled neutral. Supposedly these boards are also "oiled". Whatever that may mean. Probably why they smell like that. Whether that eventually go away again, I do not know. Or whether all the other boards are "lubricated". After rinsing 3 times the smell is certainly still there. And I find it easy iritierend.
