A decision that comes up, although improvements could be made:
First, there are the huge price differences: This, along with a note somewhere read "edition" let me suggest first that there could be two 3D versions. A corresponding request at Kosmos was never answered. Weak. For price structure I come back later.
The stable and attractively designed carton comes with about 30 x 30 x 13 cm dimensions. This is truly Elefantös. A few of these games and the shelf bursting at the seams. Actually, unnecessarily, because under the thin and thus at risk of cracking in the long inlay (remedy: cavities with polystyrene beads fill the same) is abundant kept air. 2/3 of the volume would have been enough.
So maybe there is a reburial of the contents, possibly close together with other games, such as in an aluminum case. What would also be stylish and also mobility highly favorable to her.
The 40 fixing parts are incidentally made of wood, corn, resin and pigments (wood molding granules). So be it: a few burrs are noticeable, but they act wertig - and hold probably longer than painted parts of pure wood.
The 36 lay panels (= 504 tasks!) Seem stable and high quality.
Dice, Hourglass, gems and cloth bag to make a cheap impression.
Overall, therefore, a steep price, it attracts only the material value into consideration. Exactly should be the reason for the huge price differences: The starting price seems simply untenable ...
For gameplay has been written a lot, so I would like to add only one aspect:
Ubongo 3D can also be wonderful to play alone. These suffice 9 Lege panels (= 18 3 and 18 4-tasks) and 16 fixing parts. In such a way (the rest remains in the Riesenbox) minimized the game takes away little space and can be left on the coffee table for example, for quite a while. The laying stones are also more decorative, can be good to pile up fancies and invite in passing from time to time for a Yatzy. Even guests who - like me - not bad wonder how tricky it can be but, alone 3 fixing parts to positioneren so that the task is completed. ;-)
A fun you can go even indulge in the break at work, on the train etc. is quite ... ;-)
Measured by the price so worth it to me like fun! ;-)
