I give 5 stars in relation to comparable lenses. Of course, the BQ the 70-200 f / 4 or even the 55 f / 1.8 is deutilch better, but it is the first superzoom which I will keep (the A7R). Have changed last year by Canon to Sony and had tried on various Canon Bodies Sigma, Tamron and Canon Super zoom. Only the 28-300L had an acceptable BQ, but unacceptable for me weight and size - apart from the price again. Alternatively liked the RX10 of the BQ still very good, the price also plays in the same league (so you already got an A7-Body), but to me the potential exemption was too low. The same applies for Olympus E-M1 with Panasonic 14-140 I could thoroughly test again. Also the price / performance ratio is perfectly fine. One must not forget that there is a small picture / full format superzoom. The Tamron 28-300 delivered to the EOS 6D spongy pictures and 28-300L costs more than twice and weighs 3 times. All in all, a strong buy recommendation as SUPERZOOM.
