Create new tax case or transfer data from the previous year - then the start of QuickSteuer - and the dialogue? The control file from the previous year I had saved for months already as a backup on the external drive. This zip file I have previously unpacked and clicked the folder ... 2014 / Data dialog. What I also expected my two control cases were examined and read, which lasted about 1-2 minutes and then I open the control file!
And there were all the information that I had entered just last year already in the program. All personal entries, identifiers, etc. So far, the software does exactly what it should, as well as the previous versions. It may be that Lexware has been rectified (with the patch bundle) but I can not complain - because everything works as it should.
And hand on heart - from the design, the old software was getting a bit years - the new surface is different (!!) but in my opinion, very clearly, I quickly got used to it.

There is also already during installation videos that explain the functionality of a while the files are being copied in the background. And when you restart you can repeatedly play videos and can be explained by the program. But I forgive 4 stars because I did not have my documents by the employer and the tax office (Elster access) and do not yet know exactly how the software will perform my tax return. This I will soon edit here when the documents are received and the tax return is ready.
NO, I'm not Lexware employees and make this review not advertise the product but simply describe my experience. Even with a new design works QuickSteuer 2015 so far with no problems!

Meanwhile, I have the Elster access personal certificate and self-generated password. How is slipstreams this certificate file declared in the course of the tax return. Carefully I have all relevant points for me "filled" according to the "control board", which I got from the employer. And with "Next" I was interviewed, point by point, and if necessary have made my submissions eg tax prepayment discontinuation of craftsmen bills etc.
At the end of the input will be checked and any errors displayed for readjustment. Of course, any tax case is different but again, I had no problems, everything completed as usual!
In the end I then sent the tax return online, by providing my password and shortly afterwards was made on the screen the correct Send (Transfer Ticket plus number). By the way: This can always check again if you QuickSteuer and the control case open again. The documents such as invoices, receipts, etc. Donations should be sent by mail to the tax office, of course, in addition, only the tax return is processed. Also tells the software, a signed short-form tax return is not required because one authenticated by certificate!
Again, even if many others here have had problems: Windows 7 / 64bit Quicksteuer2015 here works perfectly, from data acquisition to sending and should also be mentioned: During the creation of (a tax return I can not even make incidentally but needs some time) were 3 (!) made further software updates, the dialogue I had to run!
What was as corrected in detail by Lexware I do not know, not even if there 8.x Windows Problems!
Of course you should, if the software vendor also supports Windows 8, also work this - I can not test unfortunately because it was and is for me good reasons not to use Windows 8, but this is another topic. Of course my computer is virus-free and at the latest patch level, if this would have an influence.
So, I stick to it and sorry for all the critics, has Quicksteuer2015 here works just like the predecessor, the colors of the new design are a matter of taste but you get used to it. The functionality is crucial.
I stay at 4 stars because I have nothing to criticize. 5 stars I would have forgiven been if the tax case has been found from the previous year and automatically imported would also import the manual made no problems. The previous year's data must of course be unpacked, no ZIP file!
AND that displeases me down, so I mention it:
Watching the online Register of software. Absence of a cross set if you wish update the software, otherwise you get unsolicited next year the new version. I do not like at Lexware (subscription trap!) And know that already from Quicken.
