"Come Dream With Me" is the most beautiful plate of Jane Monheit, even before it is something abdeglitten in the "swamp" of show business and has begun to make "Music for Millions". Stylistically, it is unassailable, a voice with a beautiful timbre and many nuances and top musicians on the side - what more could you from a jazz vocalist? Primal emotions and passion such as with Billie Holiday or Nina Simone should not be expected, but intimate chamber music of one of the most talented jazz singers of our time. "Over the rainbow" has rarely sung someone so great. A CD so for romantics and candlelight wine drinkers, but without coming close to the easy-listening (a la Norah Jones).
