In a list of the best albums of the century in the American Rolling Stone Birth Of The Cool Dove (the other Kind Of Blue was), and I am my "hunter-gatherers" followed instinct, after all these rock and pop albums maybe something with Jazz. After the first superficial Play "by the way" had no effect, the CD remained a long time on the shelf. Then, one evening, I put them randomly on again, as relaxing a la "something else" at the end of a long, busy week. And since it has somehow made "click" and it was followed by many other Miles Davis plates. But this one is dear to me, even after the hundredth time still wonderful.
For people like me, then, just want to get started in jazz times, the "light" comes and the ear is not equal overwhelmed with complex sound structures but comes up with more melodic, Birth Of The Cool is thoroughly recommended
