So much fun 1

I discovered by chance in this game falling on a playthrough on YouTube. 30 minutes later I was to order on Amazon. Today is my favorite game, and the only one I finished entirely (countless times) to almost all levels of difficulty (the final boss in Revengeance mode is similar to me in Edge Of Tomorrow: a loop infinite ass-kicking).

METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE (all caps, because you yell like RULES OF NATURE) is that Metal Gear G Gundam Gundam is: it is over the top in a UFO cult saga rather seriously normally , a brilliantly ridiculous and ridiculously awesome gem. I think this game is both appreciate if you do not know Metal Gear that if you're a fan of the saga (there a lot of easter eggs and winks to previous games) and opened a different style ( because there farewell infiltration; for a ninja, Raiden is not very discreet: P).

I give 5 stars to this game, not because the game is perfect (it is not), but because he is very good, very well it exploits the capabilities of the PS3 and I had the banana from beginning to end.

Liked:

+ The universe / the context / history: not necessarily very developed in-game but quite interesting. And if you start to listen to codecs, you will find a wealth of background information on the history, the characters, but also full of fun trivial conversations between Raiden and colleagues. You have the choice between drawing if you just want to share, and take your time with the codecs if you're curious.

+ The dialogues and dubbing: as in all Metal Gear, the English dubbing is very good, and for playing the same 2 I find the English version better than the Japanese version (although I usually prefer the original version). The dialogues in English are funnier, have more depth, and the use of accents that voice better stick to the characters. The dialogues and Japanese dubbing are more serious and Standard. The fact that the lip sync is done on the English version but not the Japanese version plays.

+ The graphics: it's beautiful and fluid, even when you're frantically cut a guy in 263 pieces.

+ The lack of loading times: I raged when I had to update my PS3 and play for 1:30 before playing, but fortunately sequences kinematics and game echaînent with max 3 second cut.

+ Kinematic: very nice, with a special mention for the animation of the characters' faces, realistic and subtle. In fact, this is the first time I see kinematic play and I do not find that the characters have straight or queer air, either on the face or their movements.

+ The gameplay is intuitive, simple to learn, but asking with increasing precision the level of difficulty, satisfying. Raiden is very handy, it has a nice variety of combos and zandatsu is FAN-TAS-TIC, I do not get enough.

+ The music: a mix of hard rock and denies dubstep, which plays much in the mood and character over the top of the game I think there are no GMV MGR with super badass music. YouTube because this whole game is a super badass GMV.

+ Buttocks: nobody talks (in French reviews) but everyone has beautiful ass in this game (Metal Gear typical feature?). It is true that it is important for Raiden, after all is going well 60% of the game to look back, it's a nice bonus for the other characters. I'm surprised we did not make a sales pitch like boobs for Dead Or Alive.

+ Raiden: background interesting, very sympathetic character (and I'm not saying this just because of his ass), humorous, really fun to embody and downright badass. Special mention for his hair cuts both very typical biseinen manga heroes while remaining practical (I'm glad we are saving those damned unlikely hair strands before the eyes to the Gundam or Square Enix).

+ Cut watermelon (and all other easter eggs)

I did not like:

- Camera: gerbante in the words of another client, not enough to ruin my gaming experience but enough to kill me several times.

- Short life duration: the game ends in 5-6 hours if you do not run after easter eggs, you do not stop near the walls to try to see the character of Raiden model closely and in detail you do not stop to listen to 36 hours of codec.

- The linearity of the level design: there is little interaction with the sets, except for items you can cut (which has the merit to exist though), and the map is rather small and compartmentalized (impossible to go in shops, or take Raiden swim off the beach ...).

- We still do not tell us who make up Raiden (or so I have not yet found the codec that speaks). Damn this smokey eye !!!
