The coconut oil from Solling tastes great. However, the coconut flavor is transferred to the food to at least prolonged roasting time. This can be very positive if it suits the court. Today there was Bami Goreng because of coconut fit very well. The other day I was reading a waffle recipe, also because it is safe enrichment. Seared steak as I have not yet tried.
Anyway, I love wok dishes and spices like Thai curry, turmeric and Habanero (hot curry), and to harmonize the coconut oil.
In addition, it can withstand high temperatures in contrast to many other oils. From a food safety point of view this is an important factor. Overheated oils are quite unhealthy!
Even as a spread I can imagine it well, at least for sweet spreads.
Of lauric acid contained in coconut oil is ascribed to be effective against internal and external parasites, fungi, bacteria and viruses. Also, since the oil already found a use: My dog has been rubbed so to keep the ticks. I mean, she actually since no more, at least I could not. I give her something to chuck.
