This commentary to remind you that a simple upgrade vista to 7 can sometimes be a bad option.
In my case, the update was successful and then I found all my settings and files intact. The problem is that, probably due to vista relicats, HP software norton, windows 7 put nearly 5 minutes to start besides regular bugs (software that is not responding ...).
Before installing I was yet quite sure of the compatibility of my PC and in seven programs.
After a week, the start windows even completely blocked.
I solved the problem by doing a full installation that includes formatting the hard drive, manual reinstallation of programs ....
Based on this experience, if a manual reinstallation of your files and programs put you off, I recommend the full installation rather than an upgrade.
For the rest, I confirm that Windows Seven is frankly rather stable and responsive than Vista.
The new Quick Launch bar has been well thought 'biggest icons, miniaturization of open windows.
Also very useful, the AeroSnap function allows you to set two screws window screws (mail and a web page for example).
Although also thought the center of maitenance let you solve most problems.
Also new is the compatiblity mode to run some software updates not screw screw windows 7.
