I had prepared myself for complications with the game, and had also carefully considered whether I should buy it or not. In the end I could not resist, despite some negative reviews related to major problems when installing.
I was clear from the outset that not 100% satisfied my laptop the system requirements of the game LA Noire, He is already three years old (Asus Pro72V series). However, I never had a problem with my laptop, so I had simply risked and ordered the game here.
When it finally was there, of course, immediately installed, albeit shakily. The joy was great, as the installation went smoothly and the game could also be started without any problem. I straightened me an account with the Rockstar Social Club, a (reluctant) logged me in, and started the patch. And since I had the first (and, actually, the only) problem: first I was told that any time limit has not been met (then only the neon sign of LA Noire was shown), which I do not really resented the game because my Internet is really slow. I searched the internet thus after proposed solutions, tried the update manually install, then I was told by the program, that the error had occurred 114. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled again, this time the actual game files packed on the D drive, the Rockstar Social Club on the C drive. Again updated manually - this time the binary error. I was really upset, but I hate to give it up, so even tried a few other things. It also gave the tip, firewalls etc off, I have made my opinion everything unfortunately there was the binary error still.
Ultimately, I found a piece of advice by chance, namely to start Windows in a safe mode. Lo and behold, it worked! The update was easily completed in a short time and the game could be started without any problems. Although I was told again that an error had occurred while patching, but that's not true really, after all, I had to manually patched successfully.
Although my CPU is really too weak for the game, it runs really great! I'm excited, it reminds me a bit of Mafia I, which I'm a huge fan, every now and then it runs rather viscous, but in this game I can live really well.
I should add that I am in the command line under 'Options' of the game (before the 'Start' button clicks) '-str' have entered (without the quotes!), No idea if this is really crucial.
A bit of a pity, I find that there is no speedometer or so, but what the heck. Overall, I'm thrilled and would recommend this game only. Sure it was annoying that I have spent 7 hours with the installation, but the sense of achievement was great and the game anyway.
After about 14h games I finished 11Fälle. I was only disappointed because I thought I had already half done. But in my opinion it is always tricky to find evidence to question all witnesses and so on, which I think is very good!
