Besides housing, we do not have a base, the power cord, USB cable and a small screwdriver screws included in the range. The same as the matching screwdriver blade was made me very surprised. Therefore, the installation went even faster. I like that!

Installation

The installation works fine. You screw the 4 screws on the rear and can then pull out an "adapter". In this adapter, the HDD is then immediately plugged into the correct ports and screwed firmly using the supplied screws. Only the cable for the on-off switch hangs around there a little lonely, and must be moved behind the disk. Therefore, the cable company but tidy voltage on (because it is rather hard cable) and draws neatly on to and off. Let's see how long does that. One should just install the HDD again and then leave in peace. For frequent changes can there already something go wrong. Leaving the cable to the side of the hard drive "unhook" gets you no longer plan pushed the housing.
So hard drive clean, behind the lid on it and everything is excellent (except for the said cable). Finally, may optionally also the base are assembled.

You can see the hard drive on / off swith with a separate on-off switch. The blue LED will flash when you turn like a police car, so not for people who are allergic to something;)
Otherwise, you can then use the HDD just like any other external hard drive also. It works flawlessly.
