Amazon Delivered quickly as usual and I could Trophy 1 1/2 days after ordering test the first time.
The haptic impression was immediately very good. The glass makes a very sophisticated look. Pleasantly Perfect, the mechanism is not too heavy and not too light, so as you would expect. Setting the right eyepiece is precisely and cleanly using the small lever. This lever is pretending not equal when on or in the supplied bag unpacks the glass.
The picture is clear, bright, highly detailed and rich in contrast. The colors are natural and pleasant. The depth of field is so good that you just have to make improvements at minimal corresponding exchange between distances. The wide-angle effect is great, you have a wide "stage". I feel the glass also in weight very pleasant - not too heavy (as the one's arms after a short time fall) and not too light (the weight stabilized well). In the twilight I then surprised again the glass. The intensity of the Trophy 10x50 makes seeing in low light to a right pleasure. At night, I tested at normal street lighting, there was no glare or other unpleasant effects. Feathering I have not been able to find; maybe I'm missing to acquire 100% of the assessment compared with the absolute top products. It may be that they are still a touch better with such criteria. Should I still minimal feathering times notice then I move the glass up - which should be a problem here? When I see the difference in price between the Eschenbach Trophy 10x50 and the high-end binoculars I have the Trophy award even more. Since everyone can decide for themselves whether this last remaining feasible quality a five- to ten-fold price justifies. I am normal users, the glass take with hiking and biking and am after this first short time very, very happy with it. 10-year warranty for this glass is Eschenbach - what more could you want!
Last weekend I went to a flight event. The highlight was the multiple overflight of the airfield from a Me-109
(That was the! Fighter Aircraft Air Force during WW2). The Me-109 flew the space deep and very quickly, then moved always straight up, turned and disappeared very quickly around seconds later the place for large loops to fly again. The Trophy 10x50 could grasp the machine well and quickly, thanks to the wide-angle effect, and track very well without having to refocus. This Me-109 was really fast (12 cylinder engine with 1200 hp) - which can not be compared to a Cessna or similar commercial aircraft you.
It is a pleasure with this glass to "expedition" to go. Here I can be happy and in good conscience give 5 stars!
