We learn a lot about the characters' backgrounds and really get to know them (we see them in Their professions and in another relationship) before they fall in love and become a couple.
I like the way Karin Kallmaker portrays addiction. It's a monster That You can never really defeat once and for all, but you can keep it at bay.
It's a solid novel, but it does not have a lot of conflict. An entertaining, not too short read with good character development.
Editing is good with a few exceptions.
