One day Rachel observed something that they later can not forget. Everything has changed. And now Rachel gets a chance even to be a part of this perfect life. It is more than just the girl in the train.
The book was first of all convince me with his cover. It reminds me of the Tube in London, the blurring of speed wagons. The matte black highlights the simplicity out I think it's pretty awesome! But enough of the envelope, we get to the inside.
The Girl on the Train has something Tristes, depressives se. Everything is gray and dreary in the description. The designs are reduced to minimal, it is beautifully written nothing. The book defies generally only as of unstuffy problems and neighborly secrets.
Rachel commutes every day between London and Ashbury. Their lives are turned upside down for two years, she drowns her depression, problems and life in alcohol. She fell from the very top to the very bottom. Rachel has annoyed me beastly. Honest. By the time her alcohol problem was quite annoying. Ideally she would completely creep into the happenings in and be part of it. She says all the time that they must keep a clear mind to process everything. On the other hand, she pours herself with alcohol and annoyed afterwards to be able to remember anything.
Then there was still Jess and Jason, the perfect couple in the neighborhood. But the facade begins to crumble slowly, piece by piece. Even Rachel's ex-husband, who lives away from the pair just a few doors down, plays a certain role. He lives together with Anna and her child Evie in Rachel's old house.
The characters are pretty simple knit. There is nothing highly complex, nothing wonderful Deep in them. That bothers me when thrillers generally pretty. Again, it was unfortunately again significantly. But generally they are well interwoven relations have been presented and explained clearly.
The plot is divided into three perspectives: Rachel, Anna and Megan. Three women who can not be more different. Each has its own story, each is intertwined with the other. At the beginning of the book is quite tough. I was not sure where I should lead the action. But at some point it will be exciting and the action is progressing well. The end, as the last 60 pages are nerve-wracking!
The events are divided into specific days and this once in the morning and evening. This loosens the style on pretty, there is also very little direct speech. But that was quite enjoyable to read. The pages were flying along.
Unfortunately, I have the solution on page 200 already suspected and confirmed at the end. It was just then too clearly what is tantamount whole. Nevertheless, implementation was definitely succeeded and I had quite a fun to The Girl on the Train. Even the English was pretty easy to understand and is likely to be just a good book for beginners to get started.
