The processing of N43SN I think is very good. Here is striking in particular that you have made in the house of the Asus design thoughts. The palm rest, for example, is dark brushed aluminum, once you get away the sticker - that is relatively cool and not very susceptible to fingerprints. It has already complained that the display frame reflects the inside. I do not think this is really disturbing and the fact that you never actually touches the inside indeed the display frame, come here at least no fingerprints out. The only weak point is actually the keyboard. This is something to hakelig in my estimation, and also what the pressure point very economical terms. But after some time one comes along well with it.
The distribution of the interfaces is also very well thought out. However, I would imagine that it looks a little funny (and less space beside the notebook for the mouse can be available) when all USB ports are occupied with cables, as this only left (2xUSB 2.0) and right (1xUSB 2.0 & 1xUSB 3.0) are on the housing front. On the flip side, only the power connection, the Kensington lock and the VGA output. The slot for memory cards can be found as one and only port on the front.
The multimedia capabilities are the thickness of the notebook. The sound is really great for a notebook, the display presents pleasant colors represent (only the viewing angle dependence obscures the movie experience, if more than one person is watching) and a Blu-Ray drive is found otherwise rarely in this price range.
One gray is supplied with the Notebook software. Since (incl. Office 2010 Trial Thus, Movie Maker, etc.) in addition to the Windows 7 HP full installation also still the same Multimedia Software until you drop (PowerDVD incl. Video editor), an army of Asus Tools (including such oddities as the program "FancyStart" with which one can make the fancy look during the boot process at will still fanciger) and a battery of mini-games (all from the same provider - delivered whose name I have deleted the uninstall also the same from my memory). In fact, that has meant that I have not spent the first day with my new laptop as usual with the installation but only with the removal of software. That definitely makes no fun and let's face it Asus: 2 video editing programs as standard equipment?
Why do I still four stars? It's simple: The equipment and broadly agree the processing and are, in my view at the moment without competition well. I regret buying? No. On the contrary: The N43SN is worth every penny and I am looking forward to play with and to work and to let me talk about it.
Also I have ordered directly to the notebook an identical 4GB memory modules (Samsung M471B5273CH0-CH9 4GB DDR3-1333 (1333Mhz, 204pin, CL9, PC3-10600, SO-DIMM)). To implement this I had to loosen a screw under the battery, could then open the adjacent RAM compartment and fit the new bolt. This upgrade I would advise anyone who decides to buy the N43SN suggest.
