Frankly, I am greatly disappointed. Optical goes all still okay, genre-typical one has also here, unfortunately with legitimate animations resign, but that one is accustomed and sooo tragic is not that. But the characters and backgrounds look very pretty. The theme of the game appeals to me is not necessarily, but is good as a basis for actually quite interesting history.
The problem I find, however, the starkly exaggerated characters. Villains are so caricatured that actually is after two sentences clear that this is not a good, the heroine is partly so completely naive, it hurts, and the co-hero of the story makes within two scenes a conversion from the most depressed people that the world has ever seen, the steadfast heroes. The voice actors deliver maximum happy medium, at times acting spoken lines but sometimes totally out of place.
All that was going for me still okay. While it dampens the fun and the desire to continue playing, because the puzzles but most are a total logical and its solution quite fun, it remains off. Unfortunately, the technical base is even in this revised version still very ramshackle. I had previously grab three times provided by the developer Scores back because I could interact more after loading my own Scores with either no objects, every interaction the same interview was conducted, which was already a few scenes back and eventually led to a crash, or my character probably in another scene than those running around, I saw why no interactions were possible again and I could not leave the scene.
Furthermore, the game starts more or less at random in the window or full screen mode, and to change the mode, the game must be restarted. Task-switching is A New Beginning is sometimes less than enthusiastic: With me came every now and again to the same problems as with the broken savegames, sometimes worked a task change as well without any problems.
Finally, I never got a really envisaged in the game Note (the character has never told the corresponding line), because I had probably done a different part of the puzzle "too early". The only help offered a complete solution here.
It is rare that my bugs so the nerve and felt rob the game fun, but what was delivered here, is nothing more than a technical ruin that one unfortunately makes it very difficult to enjoy the positive aspects of the game ,
In summary:
++ Beautiful backgrounds and characters
+ Unused theme and really interesting history
+ Puzzles most logically
- Characters totally oversubscribed
- Technically, "dilapidated"
Those lucky enough to be able to play the game without bugs, gets a solid adventure game, though certainly no milestone of the genre ... but this seems to be a little gamble for me: Many of the title running smoothly, in others it is with difficulty playable.
