Use the Sigma lamp for years.
Positives:
+ Class attachment, holds virtually all arms also oversize
+ Good Light: bright, narrow but sufficient cone

Negatives:
- 5xAA batteries are too much. Are these empty one has either directly replacement of the hand or has a long charge (usually in 2 batches, because the classic Charger offers usually yes only 4 batteries Place)
- Lighting period: The lamp is very fast empty and therefore not suitable for continuous use. For occasional driving but only conditionally, because batteries may have discharged in the meantime
- Size: The lamp is comparatively heavy and clunky

Conclusion: Halogen is out, LED must be now. The best a model with 2 AA batteries. It's small and light
