Why this flashlight?
To understand my motives for choosing this lamp, I must perhaps go back a little.
I searched for the car a lamp that I can have always with you, so that must be operational at any temperature. Next was a basic requirement that long-term storage and easy procurement of batteries / accumulators. Yes, and the batteries should of course not eventually exceed the price of the lamp, which the tricked-but short-lived types as CR123, 18650, 14500 and other Asians from the outset excluded.
The size of three R20- (including D- or mono) batteries offers other advantages: They are found in dark car faster than a small lamp and it is to use in an emergency as a hammer or baton. So I was not looking for the ultimate light hammer.
After extensive research I have found five types comparable with a price range of about 18 to 50 euros.
The Fox and the Hama fell rather quickly from the grid: There were simply not enough information to get the equipment. Next had to go a Kryolights. Not because they are the most expensive, but because their intensity was indicated with 900 lumens.
900 lumens from a total of 4.5 volts has hinbekommen no reputable manufacturer until now, so I guess just the times that are the famous China lumens. So a meaningless estimate megalomaniac Grinsebacken.
There remained the Ansmann Future T500F. Not bad, with 260 lm max. Power and 50 hours of light duration at the lowest level (at 20%, that is about 50 lm) a decent performance. Their focusability is an advantage but in the video with Saturn Rings. And all ratings usually only one set and then full marks. Yes because all testers have switched recently from the old Glühfunzel just on this model? This made me somewhat skeptical.
Just FYI: Maglite I had ruled out a priori. I've pimped an old 3D with LED and now about 180 lumens. She is with me as an emergency lamp in the house. The modern Maglites this class still have the ugly plastic lens and only arrival and blanker, but shine for less!
In my research I could not rely on the way the aid of winning or self-proclaimed leaders of Taschenlampenfanszene. These freaks satisfy itself only with lamps that have no relevance for normal users.

Ok, these are conjectures but except Maglite flashlights come currently anyway almost all from China. You have to live! So you can live, if the quality is right.

The lamp is completely matt black anodized. The processing makes a clean impression. That is no different from other types.

The special feature of this model is the yellow plastic ring that holds the reflector plate and the yellow switch. She raises once out from the crowd of all-black units.
The reflector glass is plastic, but of higher quality than in the Maglite.
The threads are smooth and seemingly oiled or greased with a Gummiering as a seal something. The spring for the batteries makes a stable impression.
Overall I would say that the processing in nuances (here but completely different price range) is not quite as high as with my two Fenix ​​and the Maglite.
The de.power can ensure their ground and used as uplight.

The photograph is not as clean as in the two Fenix ​​(clear price issue). Even my pimped Maglite I would believe still have a more uniform illumination. but I must say that I have so distorted the Maglite because of their well-known dark spot in the glass that I now have a washer with fixed focal length without stain.
This Saturn's rings are to get over in the woods and on the heath, but disturbing to large smooth surfaces.

Conclusion:
The purchase of this flashlight I can recommend. She joins with an attractive price in a limited selection of similar devices, but wins in my opinion, by their not quite as dull appearance.
