0. Why switch from the iPhone?
The reason is relatively simple. My iPhone was in hardware defective and no longer to use the normal scope, so a replacement was needed. The iPhone I liked, but it was just so even the size and weight for me ok (further under 1.). Since all the top devices are huge and extremely expensive, I have decided bewust in the lower price categories to watch because my mobile phone mainly write for calling, SMS and mail management is to serve.
1. Look and Feel
Since I prefer myself small and light mobile phone should not be larger and heavier than my old Iphone 4 my future mobile phone and exactly meets the Ace 3. It is very comfortable to hold and the buttons can also be easily reached. Visually, it does nothing wrong, but does not look quite as classy as a iPhone. If an S4 Mini is located next to it, you would have to look exactly to notice a difference can. Only the Virtual Keyboard is getting used to when switching from an iPhone 4. That's much better on the iPhone 4. But if you can get used to it. Therefore, 4 *.
2. Operating System
The difference of IOS and Android is larger than expected. Where everything is fixed in IOS and the user almost everything is denied, the Android OS requested all possible information. The first few hours are a bit annoying, because all mass information of a want, but if everything is set first, then it's a solid operating system. Where IOS is round and thoughtful. Positive must emphasize one that you can enable / disable all connections with a mop and thus may shut down quickly and easily WLAN / Bluetooth etc., when the battery is weak. Full 5 * from me.
3. mail accounts, synchronize calendar
Since I'm a bit of Android disappointed, as this is one of the main functions that I use. So far it has not succeeded to involve a @ Outlook account and my professional mail account in one app. Privately I still use calendar, which can be accessed online in the Outlook calendar. That's apparently possible only with the Oulook.com App. The iPhone has much better resolved. It still works and is in practice not really disturbing.
The biggest disappointment is the synchronization software called "gravel". I was thinking that iTunes can not be surpassed in terms of crashes, but this creates loose gravel. The software is often thought that my mobile phone "Gravel 3" would need to install "Gravel 3", it says, however, that I need "Gravel" and "Gravel 3" is not executable. As the contacts are synchronized offline on my PC, it is very annoying that Samsung offers such a software. If it passes, then it's doing but tidy, so 3 *.
In summary, one can say that you get a solid cell phone for 144 (as of 4.5.14). For me as transfer passengers it was the right choice and with a little practice you quickly comes with Android cope and can enjoy the many features.
