The operation itself is not a revelation but quite passable and sufficiently intuitively.
The same goes for the sound, I naturally with: useful Headphones, not sold with the usseligen Headphones device.
Given the relatively high price of Philips loses because of the pitiful headphones then also times a star.
Radio reception is so-so - quite usable outdoors, but indoors it can quickly. Too bad that you then a rushing stereo channels simply can not turn with a press of a button on mono and so the noise is going on. This could "earlier" 30 Mark radios. The radio function is so imo indoors when moving unusable.
But - and I subtract two stars - I bought the Phillips primarily for audio books because my older MP3 player does not get along with Audible.
After all, the Phillips is one of the recommended Audible devices. Registration was with me no problem but two shortcomings of the device are imo unacceptable.
1.) The chapter way scroll in longer audiobooks leads depending on the size of the audio book to some minutes long waits.
In an audio book with 20 chapters and 700 MB eg size, you can always just a chapter or two ahead and click Phillips
goes on hold. If you want to listen to eg the 17 chapters of a large book, one must at least 6-7x "chapter
Next "button until you have reached there, between each time the player for 20 - 180 seconds passed out.
Substituting bookmark as jump label, nothing improves absolutely, remain the access times for large Audible Date estates
pathetic.
2.) No matter how I play on the player Audible files - two annoying problems occur again and again.
Normally I use the Audible Manager - but about 20% of all Übtragungen break in the middle and have to simply
be repeated.
But the 80% as "completed" reported transfers have always the same problem.
From a certain file size (500MB or more) is missing about the last minutes of the audio book completely.
- Mind - file size is the same as the original file - the original file will work on all devices
correctly - and it does not matter how I the file to the Phillips about games - it is always missing the last minute.
with shorter books that does not happen, because everything is as it should.
This banana product I vacillate between hope and resignation - yet provides the Phillips side but no solution and inquiries by mail remain unanswered.
So therefore with much forbearance - which additional functions are useless 2 stars for an expensive MP3 player part.
the MP3 player (8GB / 29,90) to ALDI SÜD sold this week, is a pure MP3 player no worse than the Phillips GoGear - pity.
Supplement - October 2014
When playing music by Shuffle the player always plays the same order from - to calculate true random numbers that was 30 years ago on the C64 already possible - the Philips professionals get the point not .- unbelievable.
Runtime with active Bluetooth currently under three hours and battery change can not. The device is a tragedy and is now disposed of.
I'd prefer to avoid the two stars awarded posthumously.
