For me, Need for Speed Undercover on the Wii just a remake! A remake of NFS Most Wanted. The reason for this: Almost anything (cars, houses, streets, environment details, police radio, etc.) is taken from Most Wanted. You just cut the map of MW apart and reassembled. The graphics are OK, but nothing more. Well definitely not (also for Wii conditions)! The video clips are of high quality, even if the story is not very typical serial profound. The choice of cars is also not bad, but could be larger. That the game has no online mode, in my opinion is completely unacceptable, but that's one already used to from EA. The choice of music is varied, but sellers should not be expected. To come again to the graphic: The lighting effects of the sun are catastrophic! Often you can see hardly anything, when the sun anscheint one. In addition, the environment often shows up very late, in fast cars that can ever be a problem. Because if one is faster than the road is reset appears in front of a one and loses race valuable time. Some textures in the game are well resolved (newly developed properties), other look like in a N64 game (taken from Most Wanted Objects). But the game also has some positive aspects. So the control is very good. There are available: Wii Remote (Wii Wheel), Wii Remote + Nunchuk, Classic Controller, Nintendo GameCube controller). Also makes there are many modes and the scope is quite large. CONCLUSION: The Wii version of NFS Undercover is a solid game, but not a hit. I recommend to grab for the GameCube therefore to Most Wanted, because it is cheaper and everything (and more) offers what Undercover also has. The Wii plays all know from all GC game.
