Packaging & Attachments:
The Abus security cylinder was together with a screw, 4 keys 1 security card and 1 instruction sheet in a sealed cardboard box.
Installation:
The installation works just like any other castle also, but unfortunately the accompanying long screw that is screwed cylinder and door did not fit. I was fortunate enough to fall back on the existing screw from the old castle.
The first day:
Throughout the Abus Security lock feel of value, looks accordingly powerful and weighs something.
The key is not, as so often inserted longitudinally, but transversely. One can get used to it, but unfortunately it is not always easy to insert the key into the lock at the top.
The cylinder makes the turn the key sounds resembling a scrape. With the daily use of this noise disappears more and more.
Hints & Tips:
A new key can be made only against copy of security card and costs, according to a note of the security technology field man, proud 14.90 plus shipping costs.
Review:
Due to the scratchy cylinder and the non-matching screw I forgive the ABUS XP2S Profile double cylinder 4 of 5 stars.
