Positives:
- The castle makes a very distinct impression itself.
- Keyhole has a cover so that there does not accumulate water / dirt
- Attachment can be changed to 3 different locations for optimal mounting position
- Key can be easily and rotate without much resistance in the castle -> no risk of breakage. However, the lock must be closed to remove the key.
Negatives:
- The opener of the bracket looks a bit cheap (simple plastic) and does not always go smoothly on. Possibly need. Some getting used.
- Bracket fits only to thin frame
Had it on the rear fork mount (right next to the cassette), as the central part of the frame is clearly too thick for the bracket (the bracket has a pre Kuhle).
- Holder can not pull 100% fixed. A lateral adjustment is still possible. At least they did not slip up / down.
- Includes Allen is can not attract the support properly. Had another Imbusset use, so it does not remain loose.
- Castle-rattling was parked with another rubber rings
- The additional safety wire is rather short (is of no consequence to me, since I do not need it)
All in all, I find the negative aspects justified the price. Once properly installed and expanded with two rubber rings, one can be very pleased with the castle. Most negative aspects concern only the installation and do not fall in the long term consequence. The only point which is a great pity that from time to time something hakelige opener is.
