Features that were buying decision for me:
- Gigabit WAN / LAN
- Simultaneous Dual Band AC operation 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz
- Full IPv6 Support
- USB3 interface
- Good performance (high data rate) and settings
Anyone who has ever done a router setup, should cope easily with the basic settings of the Asus.
WAN and WLAN settings are quickly adjusted using the 'Quick Internet Setup'.
Manual fine settings of the DHCP server, WLAN and the guest networks (up to 6 with different permissions) do not represent a hurdle for the ambitious user.
Many additional features (which can not be taken for granted in this price range) are described in detail in an online guide.
As with many current devices also only a brief setup guide is supplied in hard copy.
The Wi-Fi coverage is perfect in our 110 sqm apartment, full signal strength in all rooms (the router is not centrally positioned).
Even in the outdoor area (~ 20 m environment) is given a very good reception.

o Status LEDs of the Ethernet ports illuminate in the dark pretty much the wall behind the router.
Either I never noticed, or all my previous router had not installed ports with status LEDs.
Since the office also serves guests to stay, some have the Geblinke bothersome.
Conclusion:
Much router for the price. He has a decent data throughput and features usually found only in the higher price ranges.
Most important for me is that it easily works with the modem of my cable Betreibes.
Buy recommendation!
