The iConnect nevertheless suffers from some flaws that may eventually become irritating:
- The design of the casing 3 USB ports on the front panel (for discs) and 1 USB jack on the rear panel (for the printer) is quite awkward, you never know how to position the casing, and son also hang in front of and behind.
- The functions are rudimentary, especially those that open the content to the Internet from its box (a bit of security had been tasteful)
- Some sensibilities with some hard drives that are not recognized (in fact after discussion with IOMEGA, it seems that the USB disk interfaces pose big problems if they act as hub
Apart from that, if it is used for personal use that box is perfect: it does not heat, it is ultra quiet and is quite fast on a local Gigabit network.
