Something too easy, many minor points, but still good

As described in the title Mario Golf World Tour is generally a little too easily, unlike many other fun playing golf. This is due in particular to the many aids, such as the display of the complete (!) Trajectory of the ball (usual are here to display the first 30-50% in order to assess the trajectory of at least roughly to), or display how far the ball roll under normal conditions with no wind and rain is (common here is a target grid that indicates the gross landing zone). Also putts are often simply fall, as the ball actually bounces only at clearly excessive impact times over the hole. It follows that approach Beats too often hit the hole and to the fact that strong uneven terrain can often be simply "rolled over" with very strong Putts (not always!). The advantages and backspin and the items have a matching warranty, unlike other games where these effects only under specific conditions to succeed (eg perfect beats).

On the other hand, also allows fairly heavy courses, such as presuppose the yoshi- wiggler and underwater course that either have many obstacles or very precise objectives. The missions in the clouds course (9 holes, each par 3 with the score -9 complete) go there too far, however, and are only be overcome with a lot of luck.

The online mode also is limited to what is absolutely necessary, there are only landing places of the balls of the competitors displayed and compared at the end of the score, the coins or the time. A game 1 against 1 online against any opponent is not possible. That's too bad, because you can eg abgucken at Pangya of the opponents to tricks again rauszuholen by Turbo boxes, fans, stone landing areas or clever use of items a few feet and then to Eagle instead of coming for birdie. Nevertheless, the online mode makes by the world standards more fun than the dusty mission-heavy singleplayer part, but it often takes up to 2 minutes, until at all times there is a connection. To just want to quickly retrieve their own results is simply too much.

The missions are similar to those of Mario Golf on the N64. Collect coins, pierced rings, birdie collect coins on the courses, duels with CPU opponents to unlock Star characters etc are as expected, but were for the most part but already nearly 15 years ago since. Even the extremely short time guessed RPG mode (only about 2 hours) is known from previous Mario Golf versions. The items are used only in special missions and are sometimes overpowered anything - probably they are grown so out of the ordinary rounds of golf out.

The scope of Mario Golf World Tour is okay and the many 9 hole courses that you can top up for 15 euros in the E-Store on 18-hole courses, and a bit more variety is given. Many of these courses you can allude in temporary stages at least online. So you do not buy a pig in a poke. Despite the general aversion to DLCs I find the price here is reasonable and consider here not once but to make an exception.

Despite all the weaknesses the game is fun and motivates in particular online repeatedly to improve their records.
A similar game is about Pangya Fantasy Golf or Albatross 18, playing at about the same high level as Mario Golf, and makes a lot of little things better.
