On the other hand, it is but then again somewhat questionable, because, a classic Resident Evil rather only work in a mansion environment? Perhaps therefore also has some "land" missions incorporated that blend very well and also bring some variety, but not quite with the actual star of the game, can keep the ship "Queen Zenobia".

Playful trying with Revelations also the balancing act between old and new. New is the "over the shoulder" view, which held with Resident Evil 4 way into the series. Now what's the problem? Granted, it may be a self-made problem, but I want to draw with the left shoulder button, the gun and fire with the right shoulder button. This is with the controller "Shooter" possible. I would also like that my character goes straight when I move the left stick in that direction and it should go to the link or right when the stick is in this direction. This is, however, only with "Classic". In "Shooter" is here only in the respective direction gestrifed (correct me if necessary I am not so in this whole terms). So called in short form: I would like to have a mix of both controllers, or compose my button assignment itself!
What absolutely does not work in controlling: When scanning with the new Genesis tool it would have been much better in the style of Zombie U, if you can do that via Tablet and gyro sensor. Because you have not thought - pity.

Where we have just briefly mentioned Genesis: With this scanner you can make hidden things find if you want because - additional healing items, ammunition and handprints (unlock the bonus weapons). The game is to create almost without this tool requires more than the story because in some places a bet. If you scan also an opponent off, so a percentage indicator rises to a certain value. When you reach 100%, you get a cure object "for nothing". Overall, one can say: The game is facilitated by Genesis, brings else but hardly appreciable benefit.

Graphically already one notices the HD version of the origin of the 3DS, even if in many corners and edges significantly more than is ascended on the 3DS. Some textures look as unsightly and on the basis of a few opponents variations of technically smaller foundation is also to make out again. The new enemy, the Ooze, are actually very nice. Although the species are repeated rapidly, but these fishy look matches the ship-setting. Total Resident Evil Revelations makes quite fun and controls the boat again in a somewhat more correct direction, although it - probably due to the port - must put up with deductions in the B-Note. A bit more fine tuning of the control, here and there, but a little more texture revision, it would probably be a little superior. The capabilities of the Wii U would be also also can use a little better, but to have the map on the tablet is here considerably more helpful than the above, small in the corner (PS3, 360).
