The songs of "Premonition" catch all a very special atmosphere that exists only be heard on this album. In "Runway Lights" you can see literally the tarmac of a small American airport at night in front of him. "Summer Nights" is a melancholy look back on a childhood sweetheart and "Poor Man's Son" a rhythmically very unusual commitment to the social origins of the band. Even the borderline lyrically "Heart's A Lonely Hunter" is supported by his wonderful melody until the end. "Light Of A Thousand Smiles" begins a formidable enthusiasm of a band that plays close to their fans in small clubs. A nice document from the period before the band of Hollywood was captured.
