Sound
That is the impression I gained partly from the UE 600vi. The basses are rather cautious, the mids and highs slightly raised. That alone is obviously not an exclusion criterion for a pair of headphones, but rather subject to personal listening preferences. However, the UE are so washed out, especially in the middle and imprecise in the heights, that I now only regret having bought it at the time.
As examples I mention here:
U2 "Sunday Bloody Sunday" as a live version of Adele "Set Fire to the Rain" and REM "Daysleeper" in direct comparison to the Shure SE215 on the same media playback test part (320kbps). The Shure can be distinguished Tambourines, Maracas Chimes and even at a moderate level, if you know, despite that the Shure apply significantly more even in the bass range. The 600vi it's just been electronic porridge among all Hörumfeldern in this medium to high frequency range, which allowed hardly a distinction of instruments.
I would like here in the evaluation not be polemical, but you can not call these headphones unfortunately sound accordingly only as its price. For reference, I have next to the ER and the Shure SE215 hf2 also AKG K324 P (their time not even half as expensive as the 600vi) Sennheiser CX500 and Bose MIE2i belongs.
Listening environments:
1. Peaceful surroundings in a comfortable sitting position, playing through the latch of a high-class Onkyo amplifier
2. go on iPhone and Samsung YP-P2 with strong ambient noises (bus, train) and medium movement (-> more relevant since the application approximated.)

Shielding
Both in the quiet, as well as in the lively area offers the 600vi an acceptable insulation to the outside world. The noise isolation of -26dB is not unbeatable, but always enough to barely mitzubekommen from nevigen opposite in public transport while listening to music a little. Another positive aspect is emphasized that I could not notice any cable noise when moving the UE. Especially the costs borne by me AKG and Sennheiser models had this problem since most often the cable sheathing fails extremely thin per se at this producers. Hf2, and SE215 offer but indicated with about -37 to -40dB both better shielding than the 600vi, which is also noticeable and audible (in the form of silence when switched music, but also clearer music listening at low or middle volume.)! Cable noise did not occur even with these two in-ears.

Pass Accuracy
The fit of the 600vi I would call good. The problem of proper eartips is a science in itself and has already been discussed in numerous forums. The also have the most headphone manufacturers are now noticed and react with a wide range of attachments. The UE provides soft rubber essays in 5 sizes and foam essays in two sizes (the chance of the latter a fit, so that is quite low.) Compared this offers the hf2 "Tannenbaum essays" that I feel to wear as extremely pleasant. The SE215 provides more Varaianz in the foam articles, but only three sizes of rubber articles which have but for a much more pleasant for my claim form.

Processing
The second sticking point of 600vi next bad tone for the desired price category is their processing.
Be it in favor of a "more beautiful designs," or simply a design flaw - the fact is that to lead a corrugated reinforcement of rubber for tensile and bend relief is available to any transition from plastic. This resulted in my first couple 600vi a cable break at the plug after less than 4 months. The supplied warranty on spare pair has bonded to it also place the cable are already blank and now adopted bit by bit also from the ears. In comparison, the plug of the Shure SE215 is almost oversized and acts as if one could mind a caravan pull up the mountain. I think it should work for a device that is preferably utilized on the go, be exactly like that!
Furthermore, the 600vi offer the option to run the cable behind the ears. This is a very pleasant, to me as yet unknown type carrying method per se. Unfortunately, however, no corresponding plug bracket are included, as with other headphones usual. This has two consequences; Firstly, the cable over time getting stiffer in the flexed position, so that a wear in the normal way is no longer gradually possible (that's not an exaggeration, it is actually really hard!) - For the second, the cable is strained and a Cable break is anticipated here. The SE215 already have an integrated reinforcement for passing behind the ears, but can also be worn in any other way.
Ultimately, at my spare pair also already within half a year, the gold plating of the jack plug replaced almost entirely. Although subtle will say that without a corresponding covering the socket anyway there is no improvement in the contacts and the gold coating so can be removed is one of hardly anyone anyway, but surreptitiously to me when looking at the worn plug but already the impression that you would give the customer just the impression vorgaukeln want more sophistication.

Conclusion
A recommendation for an alternative product, I do not want to say, because of a single recommendation, there are too many alternatives that are in the similar price range and offer you more, be it from Etymotic, Shure or even that unfortunately in the review a little too short have come new Receiver Bose. Definitely, I can only advise against these headphones for asking price.
For questions and comments, I am of course happy to open.
