From the optics, this keyboard is a mix of unsophisticated keyboard design and lousy gamer keyboard. The font and the "aggressive" font on the keycaps suggest a gamer keyboard - which seems to have been determined also one of the targeted market segments for Cherry. I find "Gamer Keyboard" pretty childish, but swallow the toad, the Filcos (or even an IBM Model M) costs considerably more.
On a positive note, that the connectivity is controlled via a standard mini-USB cable. Should a cable break I can order me relatively fix a new and I do not have (expensive) electronic waste laying around.
The typing feel is really wonderful: every keystroke is accompanied by a small click and you really feel the keyboard "sucks" a letter from the hand. Measurable but the advantage is not: A for comparison Apple keyboard (the normal wired keyboard) let me anywhere near the same typing speed, but is much quieter and looks beautiful, but also makes it considerably less fun when typing;)
However, I have a big gripe with this keyboard, which is the build quality. I let it go through the keyboard, the keys are not 100% wobble-free sitting on the switches. The fact that the spacebar 2-3mm wobbles when touched lightly, accompanied with a cheap sounding noise to plastic. The fact that the keyboard can be bent a long way when one imposes a moment. But what I absolutely can not stand, are themselves glued-feeling buttons. And the Enter key feels as if you got a few items, tipped correctly neat juice. (I should know, I did it happen with my old keyboard. Disgusting.)
The stop of the Enter key is strongly attenuated, and since the damping force is a function of speed, slams the finger against a very strong pressure resistance, which is available to overcome pressing the Enter key, then "viscous" gives way after the button has set in motion.
The Cherry Customer Support I have already contacted this that has shown extremely uncooperative and said that for technical reasons the Enter key "slow" is now times and I will ever get used to it.
Conclusion: A basically acceptable Tastaur whose Undurchdachtheit leaves an annoying downside over.
