I bought these headphones to listen to music on the train in peace. This purpose meet the AKGs perfectly. The sound is perfect and rather neutral for the price, voices are well reproduced. As regards phonetic description of any other reviewers "for then kneel" I will not get carried away, but upper middle class, these listeners surely. If I (> 90dB) turn up loud, so the sound is shrill and unpleasant, but I do anyway. The soundproofing to the outside is really good, the chattering passengers are quite effectively disappears, reversed I also bother anyone with my music. The remote is well palpable. The microphone, so I am told, sounds just as good, but you should bring the mic close to your mouth in order to generate sufficient volume while facing. My problem is when I move: 1) The cable is often very noisy, here an even more flexible cable would certainly have been helpful. 2) I can think of the plugs permanently from the ear and This may be because that AKG only three pairs of plugs has (S / M / L) supplied. For me would be small to medium well, but that's not with us. The other problem if the plugs become loose: the bass is gone - not good at all and so I'm constantly at "nachstöpseln" when I move. Conclusion: good public transport when you are standing still or sitting, probably entirely unsuitable for joggers and I write "probably" because there may be people who are best served with one of the supplied plugs. In advance we know that not so & buying remains a bit hit and miss.
Addendum: In this price range should have been a little info sheet (aka manual) on board. For me as a first-time user of an "in ear earphone" it would have maybe some spares on time of around tasting.
