Picture: just great, but only when bright scenes or bright room. Large bright clouds by a very uneven illumination deface any movie night in dark rooms and visual material. Unfortunately there has been obstructed apparently a very cheap version of EDGE LED. Display was changed without complaint by Philips, but no improvement.
Sound: without external system is nothing but is also to be expected in these televisions. I have continued to use the optical output and the Smart TV always sound dropouts.
Software: Well-intentioned but poorly executed. Crashes and malfunctions churning.
I chose this model because I was very happy with my old Philips and Ambilight. Unfortunately I will have to do without for a while on Ambilight.
More than a star I can not forgive. Bad buy across the board!
