The Blu-ray comes up with the following tracks: LPCM Stereo, DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Which track is given preference, of course, depend on the funds available for the playback of the acoustic components. Mir is the stereo sound track decided to weichgespült / too vague. That does not sound real! The DD 5.1 soundtrack is incredibly noisy added caution therefore when switching between audio tracks at high volume !! - And therefore roars quite impressive. This impression, however, was short-lived with me, because this acoustic commemorates the dead sound of CDs, which is tolerable for me only in low volume.
Good thing there is the 5.1 DTS soundtrack. This sound saves this publication but at least to the extent that the concert can be seen completely and in greater volume. Does not sound softened but is airy, gruff-metallic hall acoustics with decent pressure very close. Subwoofer setting so I could even be a great bass! Dirk Schneiders still existing and incredible Sangeskraft came exactly from the center, but as not of the Center, because on this little sound was given. His voice was even, positioned like a stereo recording by the front speakers exactly in the middle.
The image could have a few less cuts / camera change for my taste. Every now and then there are jerky images, because the cameramen are probably tripped over cables. The image quality is not outstanding, but is perfectly fine.
The bonus material consists of Behind the Scenes, Russia Travel Documentation and Train Ride in Russia, I have not yet seen.
Currently UDO are in the studio to record a new disc. I've seen the band at last year's Tour SteelHammer at the pumping station in Wilhelmshaven and will also be back in the next tour.
Oh, as a bonus are the unloving put up packing two CDs here with the concert. The dying format I need not (not even for the car, because I hear tape!), Because I have the concert as a 3-LP edition (which is also, unfortunately, accommodated in double album art, for after all, heavy vinyl, but unfortunately in color) in the cabinet. Also on the white, blue and red disc which sometimes different acoustics between songs is clearly recognizable. The song eventually are supposed to sound like out of their time, which is very well done.
UDO metallic than ever which I attribute to the new arrivals and particularly metallic at the same time more aggressive, gentle, sharper and more homogenous which I attribute to the vinyl, the format and good for one or the other creeps. Keep it up! Steel hammer Steel Hammer, hammer in your face!
And finally, I call the UDO Management: Please at the next publication lossless 5.1 audio track for pure pleasure !! And thank you, please hang up and black vinyl!
