Sorry, no support for the energy saving functions - GF2

... It is the message that the battery does not appear compatible! OK - can happen even once. So off camera and switched on again and there was (initially) no message. And even with my GF2 no information about the remaining battery capacity is displayed, but afterwards I was already prepared by other reviews.

After a few shots then came again the message from the first power up, the battery is not compatible ... So again the power off / on procedure. After the 3rd restart then the message was gone, then appeared but frustratingly again after a few shots. Much more annoying I find however (from screen, sleep mode), the power saving features of GF2 are not supported.

That was then for me the criterion ko and I've now ordered me an original battery.

Conclusion

Pro:

cheaper than the original Panasonic battery
approximately the same capacity

Neutral:

no remaining battery capacity display

Cons:
No support of energy saving features

So if you want to do with the above limitations images for which the Blumax is an inexpensive alternative. Not for me, therefore only 2 stars.
